No Title

I woke up cheerfully today as my pet team won last night. Bravo Espagne!! As expected Spain was defeat over Germany 1-0 meaning that the 'Henri Delauney' Trophy @k@ Euro Champion 2008 goes to Spain. However my hubby compelled to agree with Spain's strength. Ermm, so how bout the deal honey?? Hehe.

And today is 30 June 2008, nothing special about today but yesterday was 29 June 2008 means it's already a year we've been here in France specifically Toulouse. As time goes by, I still can feel the sadness as being apart from our beloved family. And we are counting days to return back to our family and beloved country. Insya Allah, we'll be back at the end of September with our new family member, Ahmad Farrel Daniel. We are looking forward for that moment and we hope that USM will provide us tickets before Aidilfitri. Coz in past 2 years, I didn't have chance to celebrate Aidilfitri with my family. Last year I celebrate for the very first time as wife here in Toulouse together with my lovely hubby and the most terrible was in 2006 where I did celebrate it alone in Japan particularly in the office. So sad.

During the past one year, so many things occurred, ups and downs, good things, bad things which teach us the meaning of life and how to be a better person. For us, what happened here left us 1001 unforgettable memories. Our life as husband and wife was beginning here and we did learn a lot. For us, everyday is a new opportunity. We can build on yesterday's success or put its failure behind and start over again. That's the way of life, full of new 'game' every day. Thanks to Allah, without HIS 'guidance' and 'hidayah' we never know where we are now. HE did give us the hardship and HE did also give us the way out from the hardship. Alhamdulillah. And not to forget our beloved family and friends, they never stop praying for us. Thanks so much. Huhu, we really love you all so much.

Soldes, time to shopping!!

'Soldes' has started here. I'm not so sure about the other European country. But as far as I know, Belgium also has this kind of 'fiesta' but only will start beginning of July. In easier word 'Soldes' means Sales @k@ Summer Sales because it happened during the summer. Hehe. Malaysia also has but known as Mega Sale. We are so excited especially to see ourselves what 'nature' of 'fiesta' it is. Last year we arrived here on 29 Jun 200, but at 7that time we were not excited as now. I'm not really remembered what we have bought for the last summer. The only I remembered were the groceries and the 'things' for our 'tiny' studio room to start our life.

Truly to say, we are waiting this 'soldes'. Hehe. And now it's the time. Yesterday, we went to Carrefour Labege to see the situation. As expected every shop has the 'Soldes' tag with different color and discount to attract people to buy their things. Hehe. Unfortunately, we had limited time because we also had the appointment with the authority here on 1830 pm yesterday, to sign/fill the document to extend our resident permit until this October. Hoho!! We planned to going out today to see what they can offer us. Haha!! Yesterday, we just visited Esprit. And with limited time we had, my hubby and I just ‘harvested’ two t-shirts and one purse. Haha!!

The only incident which was funny for us, Farrel was so sleepy yesterday. Surprisingly after arrived Carrefour he opened up his eyes as big as he could. Looking around because there were many people around him. He smiled to us when we were in queue to pay our things. Haha.

There are my wish lists for this 'Soldes': (bleh ye bang!! Hehe)

1) Clothes
2) Make-Up Collection
3) Handbag
4) Watch
5) Sandal

P/s: We have to bear in mind, with limited of money we have to be 'smart' shopper. We have other agenda in Malaysia.

Summer and Farrel

Your smile makes Mummy n Daddy's heart melt......

Summer has finally arrived in Toulouse. It's been extremely hot and, unfortunately, I am not much of a summer person. Yesterday, we told one of my friend, I still wear a sock in the house, but today everything change drastically. Our apartment doesn't have air conditioning so the best way to deal with the heat is to turn on the fan 24 hours a day. Fortunately, we have trees at backyard of our apartment which act as a sun shield. Then we avoid going out from house frequently as we did during the autumn. Just staying at our small apartment but seems so comfortable for three of us, sometimes annoying us too. Whilst watching TV, playing games, etc. Nothing much we can do outside since it's too hot. I can feel that the sun likes to burn us when it's touch the skin. Huhu.

But for me it's other side of story. Staying at home means to save the budget. Since nowhere here to go, just shopping complex like Carrefour, Auchan, E Leclerc. Visiting those means we have to spend our money. Hehe. It's good huh?

Today we are sending our parcel back to Malaysia. Not too much, just 4 big boxes with sized 350x450x600 and the weight for all boxes with our things inside about 106kg. I really don't have any idea about the total cost of sending the parcel yet. But from our discussion with the guy from the shipment company, it will cost us about 500++ Euro. It's the cost from door to airport only, if we wanted the parcel arrive safely at our home we have to add another 150++ Euro. Too expensive ha? We wanted to send it early to avoid the cost of sending will continuously increase in the future. Hoping that the parcel will arrive safely at the airport and safely taken by my father.

Owh yea.. Good news, Farrel starting to 'meniarap' . First time we saw he did it last week we are so excited. Farrel successfully at the end after strive harder for about 2 weeks. Alhamdulillah, his making great strides physically and developmentally. The important thing he's also learning to communicate with us through facial expressions especially when he's crying. Hehe.

First time meniarap.. Go sayang.. Go Go...

Who's excited more?? Daddy or Farrel???

Mummy n Farrel during Sea Lion spectacles

With the "nice" Paddy horse..

Note: Just got the email from Shipment Company. We have to pay only 438.40 Euro for 106kg. It's worth. Not so far from the cost like our friend's last year. Then we can choose when we want the parcel arrive Malaysia. Once we pay our parcel will ship via Malaysian Airlines to Penang Airport. Yehaa!! Hoping our parcel arrive safely and 'sound'.

Bla..bla..bla...

Guess who???

Lately I feel time flies too fast, realized or not I will leave France not more than 4 months starting from now. I can’t deny it I really miss Malaysia like hell now especially my lovely family, relatives, friends, foods etc. The end of this month I will post all my things to Malaysia. I send it early to avoid the increasing in cost due to the increasing of the fuel price globally lately. In Malaysia I heard the government already up the petrol price up to RM2.70 and RM2.58 for the diesel per litre. For me it’s too much. But what can I say. As Malaysian of course I’m not agree with the government by for how long they can last. And the Malaysian should understand what government doing is for the sake of the people. And for how long Malaysian should enjoy the subsidy? When the time comes, it will be no subsidy at all.

Owh yea, last Saturday was the engagement day of my younger brother. The only one brother that I have. He just 23 years old!! Too young yea!! Anyway, that’s what we called “jodoh”. Anyway congratulations to my brother Fairuz and his fiancée Farah. And my best friend, Hasliza. Congratulations too!! And their wedding day will be on November. Whatever hoping that their will be blissful and happiness. We can’t wait for that moment. Today also I received good news, one friend of mine has an interview for the promotion this 23rd of June. I’m happy for that. Wish you best of luck.

In life we have ups and downs, so that happen also in my family. Last Saturday also we received sad news that one of my close relative was passed away. Condolence to Long’s Family. Al Fatihah to Allahyarham tok wan Hussein.

Farrel?? Owh yea… Now he starts to rolls and push his body. I’m very glad for his improvement. Keep on struggling babe!!. He also starts calling people around by saying “aaaa…. aaaa…” Hehehe.. Daddy?? Now he busy doing his project for his internship. Luckily he just does it at home and of course I’m the happiest person. Hehe.

Ok, till then.

What You Do With Now?

It is not your fault. But it is your responsibility.

The choices you have made have brought you to where you are now. And so have other factors that are completely beyond your control.

There's nothing to be gained by blaming yourself for the way your life has unfolded. There's everything to be gained by actively taking full responsibility for the way your life proceeds.

The route you traveled to this point no longer matters, for nothing can be done to change it. What truly matters is what you do with now.

Life is always unpredictable, yet there's something you can count on. The more sincerely and diligently you give yourself to the living of it, the more life will go your way.

In this moment is every possibility. Take responsibility for it all, and bring the best of those possibilities to life.
